Setting up with Grubtools is very easy – once we have your restaurant’s menu and other basic information, your Grubtools online ordering portal is built and published in just a few days. You will be provided a dedicated Grubtools Onboarding Specialist who will act as your single point of contact to ensure your tools are integrated on your website, social media, and other business profiles. Grubtools also provides an ongoing dedicated single point of contact who will manage your account. Our goal is create a long-term and fruitful partnerhip with you and having a dedicated specialist assigned to your account is important. Grubtools also provides back office access to your restaurant’s portal allowing to make changes to your menu, create and manage coupons/promotions, generate reports, review traffic and website analytics, and more.

Receiving Orders

Grubtools is known as a first party ordering solution meaning your online ordering platform is customized to your restaurant’s branding. Customers do not need to download an app in order to place an order, which streamlines and speeds up the ordering process. A customer simply clicks on your Grubtools online ordering link and can place an order for pickup or delivery from either a desktop or mobile friendly webpage.

There are 2 primary ways to receive orders from Grubtools. You can setup your email to receive orders directly into your inbox, or we can set up an order receiving device. The device allows you to receive and manage your incoming orders anywhere in the restaurant. Grubtools also offers other options to receive order notifications to include fax, text, and phone call order confirmations.

Restaurants can set up daily batching and your funds are generally in your account of choice within 24 hours. We do not hold up your funds as after all, it your hard earned money.

Grubtools works whether you have an existing website or not. Grubtools will design a customized online ordering landing page that can serve as a website or as an interactive ordering menu integrated within your existing website. Grubtools powers the online ordering through a custom ordering page from your existing website social media accounts, and other business profiles.

Grubtools will provide and integrate delivery services through our National Delivery Provider.

This will allow you to fulfill delivery orders without 3rd party commission as you can decide the radius you want to deliver to and how much, if any, of the flat delivery fee you want to cover or pass on to the customer.

There is NO COST to set up and use Grubtool’s online ordering platform. There are no commissions, set up fees, or monthly subscription/service fees to use our services.

The only fees associated with online orders are related to the standard credit card processing fees, which are 2.9% and $0.30/per transaction. That is IT!

It only takes a couple of minutes to register your restaurant information through our contact form. . From there you’ll receive a dedicated specialist to help support you with all your needs during both the onboarding process as well as on an ongoing basis. Depending on the scope of the menu, the entire set up process generally takes just several days to complete.
